About
One company. One focus.
GP Velocity gives drivers and riders at every level the knowledge and tools to go faster. GPiQ is our first product.
The person behind it
Larry Gagnon
Founder
Larry Gagnon has been racing motorcycles at club level for about 15 years, and has been a fan of all things racing for longer than that. He races a 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 and a 1982 Suzuki Katana GSX1100, and spends the winter ice racing a 2013 Ford Focus in Minden, Ontario. He knows the problem from the saddle and from the driver's seat.
He holds a BSc (Hons) in Motorsport Engineering, awarded by De Montfort University and delivered by the National Motorsport Academy, where data analysis and data engineering became his focus.
He founded GP Velocity in 2025 to put the science behind racing to work for the people who race. Most racers want to go faster. Few have the engineering knowledge or the tools to find out how. GP Velocity gives drivers and riders at every level both: a clearer understanding of racing science, and the means to turn it into performance on track.
GPiQ is the first result: security-first, AI-assisted, engineering-grade analytics that quickly surfaces insights racers would be unlikely to find on their own. GP Velocity is based in Canada and built for racers around the world.
For about 14 years, Larry has been a member of the Vintage Road Racing Association (VRRA) and the Southern Ontario Association of Racing (SOAR).
How we work
The rules we build by.
Security first
Security is decided at the start of a design, not added at the end. It applies to the product and to this website.
Auditable
If we cannot show what changed and when, we do not ship it. Every release of this site carries a checksum of every file.
Plain and proven
We choose common, well-supported technology over the newest thing. This site is plain HTML, CSS and a little JavaScript.
